Located in the Trentino region of the northern Italian Alps, the Dolomites feature some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world. Each summer, Trentino hosts dozens of live open-air concerts for its spectacular Sounds of the Dolomites music festival, where international artists of jazz, classical and world music perform on scenic, open-air stages. Marking its 25th anniversary, this year’s extended festival runs from 28th June to 15th September, 2019.
“String instruments without borders where the mountains are the essence“
Joining CarlaMaria Rodriguez, the 2019 Sounds of the Dolomites will unite Italian violinist Lorenza Borrani, Swiss cellist Ursina Braun, and from Sweden—violist Riikka Repo and violinist Mats Zetterqvist.
This international ensemble of eminent musicians will perform on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, (Gruppo del Catinaccio Rifugio Antermoia) at 12 PM.
